Last night, SD split the series with Hellas and are now forced to play a one game elimination for the championship.
SD won the first game by a score of 7-2, scoring two short handed goals in the third to take control of momentum. With strong work ethic and team play, SD cruised to victory.
In the second match, SD stumbled out of the gate and were down 1-0 late in the second. Moments later, veteran center Yianni scored the tying goal to end the period. With 30 seconds left in the third, SD fumbled on the PP and the Hellas capitalized.
