SD 6 - 3 Stickmen

After an o-3 start to the season, SD has rebounded with an impressive 7-2-1 record in the past 10.

January 29th, 2009,

The Stickmen came out strong and got a quick goal. SD responded with a powerful blow to the head, led by the explosive performance of Fuzzy, notching 4 quick goals. The crease was tended by Big Boy Lex and he turned aside 23 shots, for a sparking .88 save percentage. Late in the second, All Star Angelo got struck in the face by a wild shot and went down with a bloody nose. The SD medical staff tended to the All Star and he returned to action with a hint of blood red to complement the baby blue jersey.

All in all, the win was a team effort. Defensive minded with seamless transition to offensive pressure, led SD to a victory over a lackluster Stickmen.

Many thanks to the suspended Steve Re Malaka for supporting his team and opening the bench door.

    A little scouting report on Bullzeye..
    They have a 5-9 record with 45 GF and 57 GA.. With 16 pnts and a diff of -12...
    All Signs point to another easy SD W....
    But like weve learned the hard way, nothing is a given..
